Bulk upload of shop itemsGeneral Discussion • 3 months ago by Amishman666
I am looking to see a way to bulk upload items to a shop. I don't mind spending a lot of time on a shopping session, I love how chronica allows you to make shops and such. I would like to be able to have my special items I create, but also the standard/generic items within 5e at their fingertips. This way the players can go through let me know what they are buying while not wasting any real session if it is not necessary.
I run 3 games every week, about 4 hours per session. I want to maximize the players ability to freely purchase items they need for an adventure unless some RP is needed.
Hello @Amishman666! We are looking into spreadsheet or JSON file bulk uploads in a future patch, we are trying to get the current patch plans finished up but it is definitely on the horizon! We do have the Item Library feature that players in your campaign can pull from if you have items in there. It is also cloneable from other campaigns. You can also use the item library to fill shops and set the quantities up to 999. I am making a note of these items on our development document though, we strive for usability and I would like it to be easier / faster to get generic shops set up. Thank you so much for your feedback!
